Virtual A

The title "Virtual A" refers to the way of constructing the sculpture: Imagine that from a certain point of view a huge A is projected on to an imaginary wall. Within the projection space you could - so to say - cut out the three parts of the suspended sculpture. This is done in a 3-d computer program.
This A can only be seen when the spectators's eye is in the position of "the (imaginary) projector" From all other positions you'll just see three plates floating in the air - an abstract sculpture.
You will certainly realize the fact that things look different from different points of view.

Virtual A was shown at Gronningen's annual exhibition at Charlottenborg jan. 2005
Virtual A is permanently shown at Sønder Vang Skole in Kolding as winner project of a competition.
