E-commerce prize

E-Commerce Prize The Danish "Oscar" of e-commerce. First awarded in 2000. True to the spirit of the prize, almost every stage of the sculpture's creation has been digitally controlled - from the 3-d drawing to computer aided production. The brass hemisphere has the year engraved on it in a binary code.
From 2006 the prize will be awarded in an even more "internetual" way: The prize has lost its physical appearance: "atoms to bits" - to quote American Internet guru Nicholas Negroponte from MIT Media Laboratory.
